Titles read: “Something for the Ladies - Woman's Crowning Glory, Yesteryear and this year.“ London (probably Pathe Studio). Various shots of women modelling hairstyles from different eras of history; commentator says they come from the Hairdressing Fashion Fair at Olympia. A woman dressed in the style of the Louis XVI age wears a model ship on top of her pompadour hairstyle. Another has a towering Victorian hairdo, with several flowers made from hair coming out of the top. Less eccentric styles are seen, covering the 1820s, 1830s, 1900 and 1906. We then see a man putting the finishing touches to The Pringle, the very latest style, with loose waves on the crown and tight curls to the nape of the neck. Another woman in a bridal gown and veil also wears a 'Pringle' hairdo. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
