The person without the Spirit2 1 Corinthians 2:14 (New International Version) The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. As we look at First Corinthians chapter 2 we see the Apostle Paul speaking to the body of Christ in regards to the holy Spirit that has now filled us as God's people. Paul lets the Saints know that there is a clear distinction between those of us who are born again and those who are not. Paul also lets us to know in further writings that when men and women do not have the Holy Spirit they are under the control of the evil one. But now that God has saved us and filled us with his Holy Spirit there is a wisdom and understanding Revelation that God is able to share with us as his beloved children that he could never share with us before we had received his Holy Spirit.
