WORLDS LARGEST FORTRESS MODLIN - FROM NAPOLEON TO HITLER

There are few fortresses in history which have begun construction under Napoleon and fought heroically still standing through both World wars and served still through the cold war. And it is a must see for anybody interested in History, it is one of the largest fortresses in the world, and still sports the longest building in Europe. Along with those people now trying to restore this amazing place I am going to try to begin to show you this fantastic place and walk the 9 km of halls. But one episode can never be enough, especially as the fort has 19 experimental forts surrounding it those I will show you in later episodes. Napoleons could hardly have imagined and only hoped for what the fort became after he was vanquished 100 years later Ludendorff and a determined German army against the largest best fortress in Europe, with over well armed soldiers.
