There is definitely a lot of merit to that argument, but even with all the similarities, Primal manages to create its own unique space that is different enough from the other Far Cry’s to feel unique from the formula. When Primal is at its best, you feel immersed in an exotic time where wild beast and men roamed the Earth, and tribal warfare is the bloodiest it has ever been. Ubisoft went as far as creating three distinctively dialects based on the language of those times. Details like that help create an engrossing atmosphere that really makes you feel like its 10,000 BC Where Primal goes wrong, however, is in its vague story telling. This game could have been so much more if they had a clear storyline driving you through the world. Mostly, the missions are padding and fetch quests. The gameplay and visuals are excellent, but the story suffers in this installment. Nonetheless, it’s still worth a watch, since the characters and world are interesting. This game was hard to edit together, since there are so many fetch quests. It’s hard to determine what is important to the main story and what isn’t. As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy!
