The film is produced by The Signal Corps in Technicolor for the Commanding General of Services of Supply, in the T. F. S., 645, War Department. “Camouflage” – “Individual Concealment” title banner (00:20). A camouflaged soldier walking through a forest (00:38). He gets shot (01:02). Another soldier hiding behind trees (01:06). A group of soldiers clearing out a campsite (01:08). One soldier adds a black band and branches to his helmet to further camouflage himself (01:23). Equipment is stained a dark olive green (02:42). A soldier adds mud to his face and hands to prevent his skin reflecting light (03:07). The soldier line up for a final camouflage inspection (03:34). They march along a road, portraying how to best conceal their shadows (04:12). The soldiers spot an aircraft and rush to hide within the forest (04:49). They cross a field by laying hidden in the high grass and running in short sprints (05:29). One soldier portrays a corrects cover within the shadow of a bush (06:59). Another soldier takes cover against a light sand background and gets shot (07:06), and another soldier is shot after taking cover on the sunny side of a bush (07:26). A soldier attempts to observe over a bush (07:36), and one attempts observing through smaller bushes (07:44). A tree in the middle of the field marks a too obvious hiding spot, and soldiers run past it (08:03). A soldier runs across an open stretch in zigzag motions to confuse enemies (08:30). He releases a grenade (08:45). The other soldiers use the grenade’s distraction to run (08:57). One soldier observes from a bush through binoculars (09:16). “The End” on screen (09:40).
