Steam: GOG: Monolith is a classical point and click adventure with modern graphics, game play mechanics and user interfaces focussing on a linear and deep story. Guide space explorer Tessa Carter on her quest for survival after crashing alone on a foreign planet and discover the hidden past and danger of this deserted place, while our protagonist faces her inner demons. She is accompanied by a flying and talking robot called CORE, who is trying to hold up Tessas spirits and is capable of analyzing substances and his surroundings. The game combines well known point and click controls and puzzles with additional mechanics like directly controlled machines and story-relevant scanning of the environment. It is presented with digitally hand-drawn backgrounds, 3D characters and motion captured animations.
