Kabbalists explain that we are going through a process of recognition of the human ego, a process that is required for our conscious development. Wherever you have human beings together, as a couple, as a family, as countries, whenever you have this creature called human being with another one and you put them in a box on planet Earth for a while, the process that will naturally happen from the proximity between them is that they'll start to discover some resistance. If you don't do anything with it, it'll be bad. But if you learn what your nature is and where it's going, you can ride the wave. And then even when the ego erupts, you'll know how to use it for the benefit of the system, in a way that's healthy and positive for everyone. the connection, between us is not something we learn to embrace, then life punches us in the face.
