She was born as Adele Laurie Blue Adkins in London, England, UK. She began singing at the age of 4. Her father left when she was 2 years and she was brought up by her mother. Adele graduated from the BRIT School for performing Arts & Technology in 2006 where she was classmate with Jessie J and Leona Lewis.
