Hi, in this video tutorial I show you the k1b; k1 below technique. This is a great alternative to brioche. You can use this method in any of my knitting patterns that uses k1b stitches like; Dutchies, Wild Sea, Sailing to Avalon, Rocas and more. Want to try it out with the sample/chart as seen in the video? Cast on 19 sts Set up row (WS): k9, (k1, p1) x4, k2. Row 1 (RS): k2, (k1b, p1) x4, (k1b, k1) x3, k1b, k2. Row 2 (WS): k9, (k1, p1) x4, k2. Row 3: k2, (k1b, p1) x4, (k1, k1b) x3, k3. Row 4: repeat row 2. Repeat rows 1-4. Abbreviations k: knit p: purl k1b: knit 1 stitch below Enjoy!
