For PART TWO of this interview (RD Members): Russell Targ is a pioneer in remote viewing, having co-founded the original effort for the CIA in 1972 to develop a team of psychic spies. Not only did he succeed in this endeavor, but his Stanford Research Institute team sent chills into such places as the CIA, the NSA, and elsewhere once they realized that no secrets were safe. Targ describes the interest of rocket scientist Werner von Braun in psi phenomena, incredible remote views of Ingo Swann, Pat Price, Hella Hammid, and others. Russell also discusses his own background, how he developed his interest in psi and the unusual circumstances that led to the creation of the SRI remote viewing program.
