While in North Carolina we cleaned up this historic cemetery. This was one of the stop locations on our SOUTHERN DOMINATION TOUR and the job took 2 days in total. It was really very interesting to see several civil war era tombstones but it was REALLY COOL to FIND some of these lost TOMBSTONES. I wonder how long that they have been covered. There were also a lot of grave stones that were marking the grave sites of children. My Heart was full when my daughter showed interest in what I was doing here and asked if she could clean some tombstones with me. She gravitated to helping the sites of children and as her father this made be very proud. Madison also helped me to clean up the headstone of a confederate soldier which was a great opportunity to talk with her about the history of the area and the history of country's during the civil war. I found this to be an important conversation considering the recent divisions in our country. If you don't know where I stand I personally feel we should all pull
