Ankur - Season 1 Ep 25 Raag - “Mishra Kafi“ {Holi Thumri} About the artist - Born in the family of musicians Aniruddha Joshi is the 3rd generation of his family his Grandfather Late Pandit Vishnu Krishna Joshi, doyen of Gwalior Gharana had a major contribution to spread Indian classical music in Chattisgarh region. Aniruddha Started his musical journey with his mother Smt Archana Joshi from whom he learned basic vocal music later on as he was more interested in playing sitar his father Joshi who was eminent sitarist and musicologist started teaching him Sitar at the age of 3 and a half. later Aniruddha got tutelage of Acharya Mukherjee, the doyen of Imadadkhani Gharana.
