Various of protest STORYLINE: Jordanians staged an anti-U.S. protest in downtown Amman after noon prayer on Friday, accusing the United States of being a partner with Israel in the war on Gaza. More than two thousand protesters marched in the streets and chanted anti-U.S. and anti-Israel slogans, condemning the United States for its support of Israel and calling President Joe Biden a war criminal. Demonstrators demanded that the Jordanian government expel the American ambassador in Amman, close the American embassy, and cancel a defense agreement with the US. The demonstrators praised the Jordanian government's decision not to sign a water-for-electricity agreement with Israel.
