In this video, I demonstrate 5 fundamental ways to curl your hair using a 28mm curling iron. These curling techniques are my go-to when creating curls and hairstyles, and I often combine different types of curls (ringlets) or use only one type (Hollywood waves) in a single hairdo. Please note that before curling, I use Schwarzkopf Silhouette hairspray on natural and soft hair to help the curls last longer. Without this step, your hairstyle will not hold up well, especially in humid weather. To separate hair strands, I use Osis Volume Up, while for less voluminous curls (beach waves), I use Goldwell Gel Wax. However, any hair cream or gel that does not weigh down your hair can be used. We can curl Hollywood waves either by clamping them with the curling iron or just wrapping the hair around the iron's barrel. In the first method, you will get a smoother wave as the hair is heated and smoothed on both sides. The second method is suitable for quickly creating more voluminous and fluffy curls.
