Full title reads: “London. 'All our Firemen are smart ... here's the Smartest'. Redcross Street Station team 'get to work' ... run out 3 branches, knock down target, restow all gear - and everything else you see in the picture, in 1 min. 20 secs. to win . Challenge Cup!“ London. Firemen in practice yard leap from their fire engine. They run out hoses and attach them to water hydrants. Three firemen fire water at targets until they are knocked over. They then stow the hoses back onto the fire appliance. . They receive a warm round of applause. A man from the LCC (London County Council) makes a speech and presents the LCC Challenge cup to a fire officer from Red Cross Street station.
