Full statement from the RF Ministry of Defense regarding the upcoming conscription for military service in the ranks of the RF Armed Forces: ▪️ All conscripts will be sent to perform military service on the territory of the Russian Federation; ▪️ Conscripted military personnel will not be sent to the deployment points of the Russian Armed Forces in new regions or to participate there in carrying out the tasks of the Northern Military District; ▪️ The “Direct Telephone Line” for conscription issues will start operating from October 17 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 12:00 Moscow time; ▪️ All military personnel who have served the established terms of conscription military service will be promptly dismissed and sent to their places of residence; ▪️ To carry out the tasks of the SVO, there are enough people who want to serve under a contract and have entered into contracts with the RF Armed Forces, as well as volunteers; ▪️ The number of citizens who decided to voluntarily enroll in military service under a contract in the Russian Armed Forces has increased significantly; ▪️ To ensure timely registration of volunteers, the Russian Ministry of Defense has expanded the network of points for selecting citizens for contract service; ▪️ Work on recruitment for military service under contract continues in close cooperation with government authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
