An Ariane 5 ECA launch vehicle (Ariane Flight VA249) launched Intelsat 39 and EDRS-C satellites to Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO) from Ariane Launch Complex No. 3 (ELA 3) at Guiana Space Centre in Kourou, French Guiana, on 6 August 2019 at 19:30 UTC (16:30 local time).
