The Easter lily, also called the Lilium longiflorum, Bermuda lily, the Trumpet lily is a biblical flower commonly associated with the resurrection of Christ. The white Easter lily is traditional floral symbol of Easter, and symbol of purity, hope, innocence and peace. Rightly the lily is the flower of Easter. It lies buried in the ooze of pond or stream.
