4 Chinese, 4 Russian warplanes enter S. Koreas air defense zone without notice: JCS

Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff reported a few hours ago that the eight military jets flew across the KADIZ from 11:52 AM to 1:49 PM on Tuesday but did not violate South Korea’s territorial air. South Korean military recognized the planes before they entered the zone and deployed fighter jets in case of emergencies. Earlier on Tuesday, China’s defense ministry said Chinese and Russian air forces conducted their sixth joint aerial strategic patrol in the airspace over the waters of the East Sea and the East China Sea. KADIZ is not territorial airspace, but it is an area where pilots of foreign aircraft usually identify themselves before entering to prevent accidents. #military_plane #
