A Metallica fan of nearly 30 years, Kartik Chandrasekhar never thought he'd win one of our awesome Fandiem raffles, but that all changed in May of 2023. Kartik was born in the United States, grew up in India (where he was introduced to Metallica by a friend), and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. We were lucky enough to hand-deliver his guitar and see his genuine reaction! The guitar, designed and built by the amazing folks at Inventables and Highline Guitars, is a custom design based on James Hetfield's Flying V! The guitar was also signed by all four members of Metallica: James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo.
