This animation is heavily inspired by “Noelle and Berdly Discover the Dark World“ by Elysiandusk/Holosynth () which you can watch right here on their YouTube channel “Juliendani“: Edit: the credits which are baked into the video are outdated now, so feel free to prioritize the credits in the video description with the most up-to-date information! I stumbled across Holosynth's reimagining of Berdly and Noelle entering the Dark World a little while ago, and I enjoyed it so much it inspired me to make a 3D-animated continuation from the perspective of Noelle and Berdly after they enter the very first section of the Cyber World. I wanted this one to feel a little backroomsy and eerie, which was a lot of fun for a change, since most of my content is silly and lighthearted. Since I made Dark World versions of both Noelle and Berdly respectively, I really wanted to feature those two dark nerds in an animation with a strong focus on just them. DW Berdly didnt appear in an animation yet so it was long overdue! You can check out the renders over here if you're interested, maybe I'll post them separately as a community post: Berdly: Noelle: Both: Queen is my favorite antagonist from Deltarune (so far), so you bet I had to model, rig and animate her as well. This time I went for less stylized and more atmospheric lighting to make everything feel a little whimsical and liminal. There's a lot of stuff in this animation that's still a little rough around the edges but I wanted to get this one done and dusted, so I really hope you guys enjoy! Programs used: Blender 3.3, Blackmagic Fusion Noelle, Berdly and Queen are from the game Deltarune by Toby Fox.
