Chi Ken Wing (Leslie Cheung) was a young and presentable creative director of an advertising agency. His assistant Ann (Ann Bridgewater) was very fond of him. One night, Chi drove his car back home and almost knocked down Ah Hung (Cherie Chung). He loved her at the first sight so he started to seek her. Eventually he found her but she deceived him because she was suffering as the mistress of Sam (Melvin Wong) - the head of a triad society.
