Donation of blood by military personnel   Volunteers from among the military engineers of the combined demining detachment of the engineering troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation donated blood for medical institutions of the Donetsk People’s Republic. About 50 military personnel took part in the event at the blood transfusion station in the city of Mariupol on a voluntary basis. The blood transfusion station is one of the first buildings to be restored immediately after the end of hostilities. Now, almost every day, civilians are injured due to shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and they need help. This is not the first time that military engineers have donated blood; they have already made a huge contribution to the blood bank in Mariupol. Every drop can save someone’s life.
