This time I´m restoring a Breitling Colt Ocean Automatic Watch. It´s powered by the Breitling B17, a modified ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. It beats at 28800bph, the lift angle of the balance is at 52° and it has a power reserve of 42 hours. The reference number of this watch is A17350 and it´s chronometer-certified. This watch is water resistant up to 500 meters (1650 feet)... well ... at least you are able to lock-down the crown. The previous owner of the watch didn´t lock the crown before this watch had it´s last diving session. Water has penetrated the watch, the watch stoppped from running and it has been thrown in the most behind drawer. Bad idea.... of course this watch has gained a lot of rust over several months until it find it´s way on my desk. I need to clean everything and remove the rust where it´s possible.
