Surah Al Mulk The Sovereignty Surah Mulk discusses the greatness and vastness of Allah and gives examples of the beauty of the universe He created. It is a reminder to people that this whole kingdom belongs to Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) and He controls everything in it. . According to hadith, this Surah is often regarded as a shield or protector from the punishment of the grave. In another hadith, it mentions how there is Surah from the Qur’an which is thirty verses, and will intercede (meaning come between) on behalf of one who recites it until he is surah can spare us from trials of both this life and the next.
