The refit of Carinthia VII (97m)

A refit story: How we converted Carinthia VII from private to commercial use. Refit is a core business for Lürssen and we have worked on more than a dozen 70m yachts in the past 12 months, including the 97m Carinthia VII which we presented at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show. Carinthia VII was a complex project, completed in a compressed 300-day time period, as we converted the 97m yacht from private to commercial use. Despite being impeccably maintained, there were many technical aspects of Carinthia VII that were not up to current standards. Bringing any yacht into class is challenging, let alone a yacht that is almost two decades old. The most visible changes include a new state-of-the-art gym on her bridge deck and a large 11m swimming pool installed on her main deck aft.
