Splitting models into two separate objects in blender isn't as hard as it seems! This is an extremely useful skill to have in your 3D kitbashing arsenal. Keep in mind-- the bisect tool only works through selected vertices, so make sure to press A if everything isn't selected in edit mode! Mini from the Makers Cult! My instagram:
