Ukrainian military has received 50 Kirpi armored vehicles, according to the Kakhovka military grouping, part of Ukraine’s Operational Command South. Kirpi (Turkish for “hedgehog”) is a mine-resistant ambush-protected personnel carrier produced by BMC, a large Turkish manufacturer. Each car can transport up to 13 passengers. Kirpi features a combination of standard and add-on armor, that, along with its V-shape underbody and monocoque, provides protection against incoming ballistic projectiles and also from landmines and improvised explosive devices. Ukraine’s military expects to get more 150 Kirpi vehicles soon. Source: Kakhovka military grouping\Facebook
