Following the collapse of the Berlin Wall, Belgium born filmmaker Chantal Akerman (1950 - 2015) jumped at the opportunity to create a documentary film focused on a grand journey across Eastern Europe. Watch as Walker Film Specialist / Projectionist Justin Ayd speaks about why Akerman’s minimalist style and exploratory lens offers a perspective which may be immensely relevant to viewing the world today.
