Reporter Anna Dolgareva said: “We are now in the Volnovakha district in the village of Nikolskoye. Every day Ukrainian artillery shoots at the village, at the homes of civilians, and at the monastery. The buildings of the monastery have been utterly destroyed. Here, Grad rockets are still stuck in the ground in some places, exploded and intact. Ukrainian troops are a kilometer away in the Posadka village. They are actively supplied with Western weapons, in particular, 155-caliber artillery, that is, large-caliber. Shells fly here successfully. This will continue until the Ukrainian troops will be moved away from here to a distance exceeding the distance of the shot. With the new long-range Western guns, it’s quite difficult. It’s terrible that the shelling even arrives at the monastery. The monastery is working, as you can hear. Monks bake bread and feed civilians with it. People come here to get bread, for spiritual consolation, to eat. This does not stop the Ukrainian troops. I came here, and everyone tells me that I am in danger. But people live here and are just as exposed to this danger.“
