Callan is a British drama espionage television series, which originally aired between 1967 and 1972. It features Edward Woodward as David Callan, an agent of a state secret service dealing with internal security threats to the United Kingdom. Red Knight, White Knight (S2E1): Callan is brought officially back into the Section by a new Hunter, who accompanies him and Meres to the airport collect Russian defector Bunin when he arrives on British soil. Callan doesn’t believe a man like Bunin would ever defect and suspects he has actually been dispatched to investigate and even kill the new Hunter. It features Edward Woodward, Michael Goodliffe, Anthony Valentine, Russell Hunter, and Duncan Lamont.
