Full title reads: “London. World's Largest Girder. 68 ft long - weighing 98 1/2 tons - on a 30 wheeled lorry moved slowly, but successfully into position! The journey from Middlesbrough to Marble Arch cost £20,000!“ London. Various shots of a huge metal girder being carried on the back of a lorry (a Scammell 100-ton tractor) through the streets of London. Large crowds have come out to watch its passage.
