1) Albeit a little later this is for the release anniversary of the movie here in Italy, December 19, 1987. Here for an extended version: instead here for my interpretation of Opera by Simonetti: 2) I also add that the publication of these pieces is one of the pieces that I had to upload between the last few days and these days, that is, this was the second film of the three that I had in mind to celebrate this week by virtue of their release anniversaries. The first film was The Last of the Mohicans, which came out on December 22 here in Italy, and I played the Main Theme. I also wanted to do Promentory or The Gael but time was too short. In any case this is the link of the video: (there are two versions, this is the first one). The second film was just this, Opera, released on December 19, 1987, also here in Italy. The third film, on the other hand, is A Clockwork Orange which was presented in the USA on December 19, 1971, a film that is therefore also 50 years old but which seems to have none. Let's say that I wanted to close the year with the pieces from A Clockwork Orange, which I'm sure 2 (maybe even 3) in fact but unfortunately it is impossible, having only finished tonight to assemble and complete the loading of the pieces from Opera. This means that instead of closing I will open the year with a Clockwork Orange. Better than this you want more? Since it is one of my favorite films of all time as well as being objectively one of the greatest films in the history of cinema. In any case, I immediately say that unfortunately I have not interpreted perhaps the most famous piece from the film, mainly for a matter of time, too little to prepare it, and also for a technical question because it is not really easy. Although I have interpreted another equally well-known piece, even if only a part relating to a very specific scene. Although in general it must be said that in the film there are never the complete versions of these pieces, they are always cut. #operadarioargento #opera1987soundtrack #billwyman
