Biography Jason Tom, Hawaiʻi’s Human Beatbox, began beatboxing and scat singing at the tender age of four to the chorus of Michael Jackson’s “Bad“ on audio cassette tape. He is a fifth-generation Hawaiʻi Chinese American born and raised in Downtown Honolulu’s Arts District.
