In this video I am walking at the Christmas market in Dortmund, Germany, which features one of the largest Christmas trees in the world. It stands at about 46m or 150 feet tall, making it colossal. The Christmas tree includes more than 1,700 spruce trees and features over 45,000 lights. It is the centrepiece of Dortmund's Christmas market, drawing thousands of visitors and explaining why the German city invests in a 40-tonne Christmas tree yearly. Dortmund boasts one of Germany's biggest and most beautiful Christmas markets - the Weihnachtsstadt, which is in my opinion the best one this year. With over 300 pretty wooden stalls, this enchanting winter village covers the entire city centre and has something to offer every member of the family, including the youngest and oldest. The wooden stalls are stylishly adorned and showcase a plethora of Christmas market treasures, from handcrafted decorations to original gifts and local delicacies.
