Snipers from Transbaikal region in action in Ugledar Snipers of the Vostok Group of Forces (motorised rifle formation, reconnaissance units, Transbaikal region) successfully perform tasks in South Donetsk direction. Servicemen perform tasks in groups of three people: a spotter, a cover soldier, and a rifleman. While approaching the enemy’s positions, servicemen travel several kilometres and have to spend several hours in ambush. Snipers of the reconnaissance unit operate with modernised weapons and use modern thermal imaging sights. The main advantage of their rifles is the muzzle brake, with which it is almost impossible to detect a sniper shot. The actions of snipers during the assault of Ugledar were unique.
