Beng Mealea is one of the most mysterious temples at Angkor in Cambodia. The temple lays in ruins, mostly unrestored, and the jungle has taken over it (hence also known as the “Jungle Temple“). It is not mentioned in any of the Khmer inscriptions despite its large size, but it is considered to be built in the early 12th century. The temple is located about 77 Km northwest of Siem Reap. The Beng Mealea temple complex is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List. Recorded February 2024 in 4K Ultra HD with Sony AX700 and DJI Pocket 2.
