Dr. Florian Pacaud studied at the University of Paris XI/Orsay and received a PhD from the Observatory of Paris in 2008. Since then he has been a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Bonn. He is a specialist of wide area sky surveys based on X-ray satellites. His research focuses on the most massive celestial bodies currently know, clusters of galaxies, and how we use then investigate the large scale structures of the Universe. Dr Pacaud hat an der Universität Paris/Orsay studiert und 2008 seinen Doktortitel vom Pariser Observatorium erhalten. Seitdem ist r Postdoktorand an der Universität Bonn.
