Keep your bags going even longer with our Repair Pack. Iron-on repair patches that can be applied to your bags, repairing most holes or areas of wear after heavy use. Patches are waterproof when applied and the supplied wallet is made from repurposed waste fabric from our cutting process. Because of this, colours may vary from depiction. Included: 3 patches Applying the patches is a simple process: 1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the damaged area on the bag is clean, dry and pressed flat. 2. Heat the Iron: Heat your household clothes iron to its highest temperature setting (three dots) and choose a patch from the repair kit that fully covers the damaged section. 3. Setup for Repair: Place the bag on an ironing board or similar flat surface. Position the repair patch over the hole, with the shiny side facing down. 4. Protect the Surface: Place a cotton cloth directly over the repair patch (a towel or old t-shirt for example). Ensure that the surface of the bag is shielded from direct heat to prevent any damage. 5. Apply Heat: Iron over the cloth-covered repair patch, applying pressure and movement for 20-25 seconds (avoid using steam). Allow it to cool for a few minutes. Avoid fittings, zips and labels. 6. Inspect and Repeat until Complete: After each pass of heat, carefully check the patch's position and adherence. Repeat the heating process until the adhesive has sufficiently bonded with the material. You'll see a very small amount of shiny glue start to ooze from the edges of the patch. By following these steps, you can effectively repair your bag, ensuring a durable and water-resistant fix. -- #restrap #bikepacking
