Collapsed Baltimore bridge debris destroyed Some of the remaining parts of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed in March after a container ship struck one of its piers, were destroyed by a controlled explosion to allow engineers to cut away the rest. Officials say they expect to be able to move the Dali container vessel - which has remained in place since the March 26 crash - within 2 days, then resume traffic into the Port of Baltimore by the end of May.
