This film was produced by Coronet Films (also known as Coronet Instructional Media Inc.) which was a producer and distributor of American documentary shorts that were shown in schools from the 1940s through the 1980s. This film shows the progression of the measurement of time. Educational Collaborator was Herbert F. Spitzer, Ph.D., professor of Education at State University of Iowa. A Train Schedule measures hours (0:19-0:24). Boiling Eggs – the stove timer measures minutes (0:25-0:31). Seconds can be measured on the scoreboard (0:32-0:38).
