Ford Escape Mazda Tribute Mercury Mariner Timing Chain Replacement and Timing Marks ► Our Website for Tools, Parts and more Videos: In this video we are going to show you how to remove and replace the timing chain on a Ford Escape 3.0 Engine. This will also work for the Mercury Mariner, Mazda Tribute, Mazda MPV and Mazda 6. All of them share the same group of 3.0 Ford Engine. This engine jumped a few teeth on the timing chain which caused the engine to run very badly and it even sounded like diesel. Most people will go ahead and replace the whole engine but in most cases the valves will be ok and you will not need new engine all you need to do is put a new timing Chain Kit. It is recommended to replace the timing chain at around 100-120k miles on this engine. We have repaired many in the past that jump the timing around 150k miles. We purchased the timing chain kit on eBay. It is made in the USA and it cost only around $100 with free shipping. This video demonstrated how to install the new chain and how to time the engine. The timing marks on this models are a little confusing but hopefully this video will clear things up and help you with the timing marks. This should work and be almost the same procedure for: Ford Escape 3.0 V6 Mercury Mariner 3.0 V6 Mazda MPV 3.0 V6 Mazda TRIBUTE 3.0 V6 Mazda 6 3.0 V6 ► 2ND Channel Subscribe: ►►Honest Product Review Channel: ► BMW E46 ZHP PROJECT ► Ford Fiesta ST BUILD ► 2013 GT86 Project Playlist: Please LIKE , COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE for More DIY VIDEOS that Could SAVE YOU BIG $$$$$$$!!! 5 NEW VIDEOS EVERY WEEK!
