The U.S. Navy once experimented with landing a full-sized Lockheed C-130 Hercules on an aircraft carrier to offer a flying option for heavy resupply missions at sea. The craziest part of the plan was that it totally worked. The Navy’s plan to fly the C-130 off aircraft carriers (that worked) ➡️
