***NEW DETAIL*** -- okay I'm adding in this detail at the top now since so many people leave comments about it. Dave Abbruzzese is NOT featured anywhere within this video for the simple fact he was already fired from the band when this footage was shot. Yes, he was in PJ when they first started recording the Vitalogy album, but this footage was shot in early 1995, he was long gone by then. Not including him was not some action by design by me to disrespect Dave A or anything like that. ------------------------------------ As of yesterday (Dec 6, 2014) it's been exactly 20 years since the album Vitalogy was released. Well the CD version, anyway, the vinyl was like two weeks before that. But since Corduroy might very well be my favorite Pearl Jam song (and they my favorite modern band), I'd been wanting for awhile now to have a sort of unofficial “official“ music video for the studio version. Mostly because, as much as I love when the band does it nowadays, but for many years now they've been playing it at a FAR greater tempo than how it originally was, and honestly I miss that tempo. So, using the first 1995 Monkeywrench footage that was put out with the album's rerelease a few years ago (along with Vs.), I tried my best to sync up that with the studio cut to compose this “music video“. I had to do a little fancy editing as the tempo even in that performance was a bit faster, not to mention some lyrics being a bit different, so it's certainly not 100% perfect, but I think it's about the best it can get. This is all done out of devotion, love and fandom. No copyright intended.
