Bisley, Surrey. L/S of a line of men with rifles in a field; before them in the distance is a line of targets. Various shots of a man pouring gunpowder into his gun, then shot pellets and bullets; he presses them down with a rod. A man lying on his front on the grass fires a shot at one of the targets. Commentator tells us the men are “All members of the 300 strong Muzzle Loaders' Association“. Various shots of the men pouring powder and firing shots; interesting point of view shot through the view finder of a rifle as a man fires. Some of the men are seen looking through telescopes at the targets. Several men clamber down from the firing line and walk towards the targets; various shots of them checking their scores by the holes in their targets. Commentator says “...you should know that the actual firing is almost a secondary consideration. Believe it or not, their prime target is to collect antique firearms“.
