Our American cousins usually like to supersize things, but the new all-electric Cadillac Escalade IQ takes things to a new and terrifying level. Based on a stretched version of the double-decker battery carrying platform from under the Hummer EV, it’s a luxury SUV with 24-inch wheels, two cargo bays, up to eight seats, over fifty inches of screen, and good for a claimed 400 miles of range. And it weighs over four tonnes. Is this the point where even the American public start to admit that enough is enough when it comes to SUV bloat, or is it merely the four-wheeled epitome of the American Dream?
