Located about 70 miles northeast of Knoxville Tennessee, is a town called Greeneville. Greeneville is the second oldest town in Tennessee and was the capital of the short-lived State of Franklin. Named after Nathanial Greene, a revolutionary war hero, the town has plenty of history... and with old historic buildings, it's no surprise that the town has more than a few haunted hot spots. From the lost souls of the Old Greene County Jail to poltergeist activity and the screaming haunts at the General Morgan Inn, where it's said that at least 40 ghosts still haunt the building... Greeneville certainly has plenty to offer when it comes to the supernatural.
