Unveiled in a septic setting that resembled an operating theatre, the Gucci Fall Winter 2018 fashion show. Inspired by ‘Cyborg Manifesto’ by D.J. Haraway, the collection by Alessandro Michele featured feather adorned gowns, initials of Major League baseball teams on pieces including a denim jumpsuit and cape and vintage-ski inspired balaclavas. Visual and special effects creative factory Makinarium created replica heads of the models who carried them, and a lifelike baby dragon and chameleon. Crystals crisscrossed sneakers, and GG motif luggage was created together with British brand Globe-Trotter.
