There is almost nothing better than good music to start the year. For my Dub Techno Lounge I use Elektron Hardware, the MS2000R from Korg and the Microcosm from Hologram. The Microcosm refines the sounds of the MS2000R and adds soundscapes to it. Perfect for incorporating complex structures into Dub Techno. Enjoy it and feel free!
