DtRockstar1 records one of the world’s rarest cars, the 1931 Bugatti Royale Type 41. This car used a 12.7 liter straight-eight engine, producing about 300 horsepower (twice the power of a Rolls-Royce at the time.) It weighed about 3175 kg (7000 lb). Ettore Bugatti planned to build 25 Royales. Unfortunately, the car was $43,000 in 1931, and even royalty couldn’t afford that during the Great Depression.
